As we venture into August it is a month of first’s for me!

Since moving from funerals to family celebrancy I will be conducting my first ceremony this month.  A Naming Ceremony for the most precious little one and I cannot wait!  I have the obvious nerves and anticipation of ‘will I do a good job?’, the ‘am I good enough?’ but ultimately I cant wait to get started and get this one under my belt so to speak.  Thankfully its a lovely family and they loved the script so I am hoping to do their story justice when the ceremony finally comes around.

Like with every new chapter in your life there is trepidation but overall I feel a rush of excitement and I know I am on the right path.

Another first this month is attending Plymouth Pride.  I am going with my daughter and nibling and I cannot wait as I have never been to any event like this.  I am a cis gender woman but there are some people around me discovering themselves so I thought it really important I learn more and experience such an incredible event.

This month I am also preparing for my first ever Wedding Fayre in September so thats very exciting getting everything ready and ensuring I love the look of my stand.

So with love in my heart and gratitude for this journey I take on August… I cant wait to get started!
